Refurb Centre Technician

Our client in the commercial/trucking business is urgently looking for a refurb centre technician to join their team in the East Rand, Gauteng

Requirements:

• Matric Certificate.
• Training certificates CO2 welding, spray painting, boiler making.
• Code 10 Licence (Code 14 Preferred).
• Minimum 2 – 3 years’ experience in similar role

Duties and responsibilities:

• Inspect, clean, sand, buff, tape off, and paint parts or trucks.
• Mix paint and primers accurately.
• The ability to disassemble and reassemble work as required.
• Maintain a clean work area.
• Responsible for the cleaning and maintenance of work equipment.
• Assistance with facility maintenance maybe required at times.
• Spray painting and CO2 Welding experience (qualified or Semi-Skilled).
• Must be able to keep their own time keeping sheets.
• Must be able to do quotes on trucks.
• Must have worked on trucks before.
• Must be able to work independently without supervision.
