MTV Base & Klipdrift Premium Urban Smooth Sessions matches today's hottest DJs and vocalists with a live band for an unforgettable night of the smoothest sounds.

Filling the dance floor at the December edition are Micasa and Liquideep, alongside house sensation Busisiwa, while DJs C'ndo (@dj_cndo), Benny Maverick (@BennyMaverick) and LAB will be spinning into the small hours of the morning.

South Africa's most soulful and creative house collective, Mi Casa {@MiCasaMusic) can always be guaranteed to deliver the goods, thanks to the combined musical talents of DJ/producer Dr Duda, guitar and super-vocalist J'Something and trumpeter Mo-T. The multi-award-winning trio is currently riding high in the charts with their massive hit single, Jika.

Back for a second outing at MTV Base & Klipdrift Premium Urban Smooth Sessions is Liquideep (@LiquideepSA). Long after their breakthrough track Fairytale first made house aficionados sit up and pay attention, singer/songwriter/producer Zyon and DJ/producer Ryzor continue to win fans thanks to the deep house grooves nimbly showcased on their third album, "Welcome Aboard", which hit the shops earlier this year after a three-year recording hiatus. The album, with featured appearances from Idols runner-up Melissa Allison, Nigeria's Ice Prince and rapper Khuli Chana, has been described as their best work to date.

Rising ethno-house star Busiswa is a new-age performance poet and singer who combines infectious stage energy with an authentically African sound and beautifully hypnotic beats.
