Data Architect

A Group propelled forward by its efficiency in providing professional financial solutions and products to bring data and insights in collaboration to showing partners how their behaviour accelerates their journey to success are in search of a Data Architect to assist in the data-driven decision-making and support the organisation's strategic goals.

Requirements:

• Strong expertise in data modelling, database design, and data integration techniques
• Proficiency in data management tools, such as relational databases, NoSQL databases, data warehouses, ETL tools, etc.
• Ensure data quality, accuracy, consistency, and security across the organization
• Define and enforce data access controls and permissions.
• Design and implement efficient ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to integrate data from various sources into the data ecosystem.
• Collaborate with data analysts and business intelligence teams to design and optimise data structures for reporting and analysis purposes.
• Monitor and optimise data architecture performance, identifying bottlenecks and areas for improvement.
• Creating and maintaining data visualizations, dashboards, and reports.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree/ Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Advanced degrees or relevant certifications are a plus.
• 2-3 years’ experience with data governance, data security, and compliance requirements.
• Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in data processing (e.g. SQL, Python, Java).
• 3-4 years’ experience in designing and implementing big data and analytics platforms like Hadoop and Apache Spark
