Inbound Insurance Sales Consultant (Business and Commercial)

Remuneration:R12000 - R20000 per month
Location:Tshwane
Reference:#PTA000054/Candi
Company:Finding Personnel

Our client is launching a new pilot project exploring how personal lines building insurance products can be positioned for non-individual policyholders, such as trusts and registered businesses. This is not a commercial insurance role – no commercial insurance license or products are involved.

They are seeking an inbound building/commerical insurance consultant who will assist with interpreting legal structures and support the sales and product teams in positioning personal building insurance solutions to these niche segments.

This position is ideal for someone with experience navigating trust or company documentation, knowledge of short-term personal lines insurance, and the desire to contribute to an exploratory, strategic project.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in interpreting and navigating trust documents and company registration documents.
  • Work collaboratively with the sales and product teams to assess and recommend product fit and ensure compliance when offering personal building insurance to non-individual entities.
  • Contribute insights on how to tailor and position personal lines building insurance products to suit the needs and limitations of trusts and businesses.
  • Engage with leads from these segments and assess feasibility of onboarding them under personal lines policies.
  • Remain up to date with FAIS, FICA, and other compliance requirements applicable to policyholders that are legal entities.
  • Support the team's efforts in testing the commercial viability of this new market segment.
Important Note: Due to the project’s pilot nature, there is no guarantee of long-term scalability. Should the project not continue, you may be moved into a New Business Consultant or Inbound Sales role, based on your skills and performance.

Qualifications and skills:
  • Grade 12 is required. Tertiary education in law, finance, or insurance is advantageous.
  • 2+ years in insurance sales or administration, ideally with exposure to trusts, legal entities, or compliance-driven environments.
  • Strong understanding of personal lines insurance, particularly building cover.
  • Familiarity with trust structures, family trusts, or business ownership documents is highly beneficial.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proven experience handling compliance-sensitive or documentation-heavy sales.
  • Ability to work independently, as part of a small pilot team, and in ambiguous or evolving projects.
  • RE5 and FAIS-accredited if you’ve been registered on the representative register for over 2 years in an advised role.
Working Conditions:
  • Hours: 8:00 – 17:00 Monday to Friday, with one late shift per week (10:00 – 19:00).
  • Saturdays: May be required on request (9:00 – 12:00).
  • Office Requirement: 4 days in-office per week (Waterkloof, Pretoria).
