Comic Con Africa’s Johannesburg edition moves dates to 28-31 August

Comic Con Africa’s Johannesburg edition has been postponed to 28-31 August 2025, due to planned renovations at the Johannesburg Expo Centre and an upcoming international event.

Organisers had to adjust the schedule to keep the festival at its usual venue, as its size and facilities are essential for accommodating attendees.

Show director Carla Massmann acknowledged the inconvenience but assured fans that the event’s content would remain unchanged.

The date change is a one-time adjustment, with the festival set to return to its usual September schedule in 2026.
