Key responsibilities:

• Sector-Specific research and reporting: Investigate current news, trends, and developments affecting the energy sector within the B2B space.

• Writing and storytelling: Produce well-researched, compelling news stories and articles tailored to the publication’s audience.
• Data interpretation: Analyse industry reports and technical information to create accurate, insightful content that resonates with readers.
• Collaboration and teamwork: Work closely with editors and fellow writers to ensure the highest standards of journalism and editorial integrity.

Requirements:

• Professional experience: Demonstrated journalism or writing experience, with a portfolio of published work. Previous exposure to energy topics is highly advantageous.
• Educational background: A degree in Journalism, English, Communications, or a related field is preferred.
• Excellent command of written English and strong editing abilities
• Ability to interpret data and industry reports for clear, engaging articles
• Confidence in networking and building industry contacts
• Strong organizational skills to handle multiple assignments simultaneously
• Self-motivation to produce original, high-quality reporting
• Practical requirements: A valid driver’s license and vehicle, as travel may be needed for events and interviews.
