Jigsaw, an innovative compliance training provider – is looking for a Sales and Marketing Manager.
As a Sales and Marketing Manager, you will play a crucial role in our sales team by generating and managing leads and scheduling appointments for our sales executives. Your primary responsibility will be to engage potential clients, understand their needs, and set up meetings that facilitate our sales process.
Position Type: Full-time (3-month probation)
Remuneration: R20k per month (Commission will be implemented after the probation period)
Location: Claremont Cape Town (non-remote)
Key responsibilities:- Identify and research potential clients using various tools and databases.
- Reach out to prospective clients via phone, email, and other communication channels to introduce our products/services and schedule appointments.
- Assess and qualify leads based on predefined criteria to ensure they are a good fit for our offerings.
- Coordinate with clients and sales team members to schedule meetings, ensuring optimal timing and preparation.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all interactions and scheduled appointments.
- Write concise proposals to suite prospective client’s requirements and product needs
- Conduct follow-up communications to confirm appointments and address any preliminary questions or concerns.
- Provide regular updates on lead generation and appointment-setting activities to the Sales Executive
- Work closely with sales executives to understand their needs and support their objectives.
- Have a keen understanding of Jigsaw services, software, and offerings to ensure client guidance and sales.
Requirements:- Experience: Prior experience in a sales or customer service role is a plus but not required.
- Ideally has experience selling Software as a Service (SAAS) products and services
- Skills:
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- A postgraduate qualification
