Job description

About Fancam

Fancam is the global leader in high-resolution crowd photography, creating interactive, zoomable images viewed by millions of fans worldwide. Our clients include some of the biggest names in sports and entertainment—we’ve captured Super Bowls, Daytona 500s, NBA Finals, Stanley Cups, UEFA Finals, Rugby and Cricket World Cups, and even global music tours like Taylor Swift, U2, and Justin Bieber.

We deliver premium-quality content that fans cherish, and we need someone with an obsessive attention to detail to ensure every pixel is flawless.

Role overview

We’re looking for a Graphic/Web Designer focused on QA—someone with a perfectionist streak who takes pride in ensuring every image, graphic, and web element meets the highest quality standards. This role is not just about design; it’s about quality control. You'll be the last line of defense before content goes live, ensuring flawless execution across all our visuals, interactive elements, and branded assets.

If you’re the type of person who notices one pixel out of place, can’t sleep if colors don’t match perfectly, and loves making sure everything is just right, then you’re exactly who we need.

Key responsibilities
  • Quality assurance of visual content – Ensure all graphics, interactive images, and branded elements meet design and technical standards before publication.
  • Pixel-perfect web & UI design checks – Verify web elements, typography, and UI components are consistent, responsive, and correctly implemented.
  • Brand consistency – Uphold strict brand guidelines across all media and ensure design assets maintain a unified look and feel.
  • Error detection and correction – Identify inconsistencies, typos, incorrect image placements, color mismatches, or broken layouts, and work with the team to correct them.
  • Collaboration with global clients – Work closely with international sports teams and event organizers to deliver flawless visuals.
  • Typography and layout auditing – Review fonts, spacing, alignment, and kerning to ensure professional and polished design execution.
  • Content testing – Review final Fancam experiences before they go live, ensuring smooth navigation, proper zooming functionality, and accurate tagging.
What we’re looking for
  • Obsessive attention to detail – You notice the things others miss and won’t let anything slip through.
  • Technical and design proficiency – Expertise in Graphic Design, Web Design, UI/UX, and Branding.
  • Experience in web-based visual content – Familiarity with designing for online platforms, interactive content, and image-heavy applications.
  • Strong sense of ownership – You take personal pride in delivering perfect work and don’t need anyone to micromanage you.
  • Ability to work independently and remotely – We’re a globally distributed team, so you need to be proactive and self-driven.
  • Passion for perfection – You double-check your work, then triple-check it for good measure.
Why join Fancam?
  • Global impact – Your work will be seen by millions of passionate sports fans worldwide.
  • Cutting-edge tech – Be part of a team pushing the boundaries of high-resolution crowd photography and interactive digital experiences.
  • Autonomy and ownership – We value talent and initiative over excessive oversight.
  • Work with the best – Collaborate with top-tier brands, sports leagues, and entertainment giants.
  • Remote and flexible – Work from anywhere while making a global impact.
If "perfectionist" is a compliment you've heard before, and if you get satisfaction from knowing everything is exactly as it should be, then this role is for you.

Design and visual skills

Graphic design proficiency – Strong foundational skills in visual design principles, color theory, layout, and composition (+ the relevant software packages that go with it)
Web design expertise – Understanding of responsive web design, layout structure, and usability.
UI/UX auditing – Ability to evaluate interface elements, user flows, and interactive design quality.

Quality assurance and attention to detail

Pixel-level accuracy – A sharp eye for discrepancies in pixel placement, spacing, and alignment.
Error detection and troubleshooting – Ability to spot and correct typos, incorrect placements, and inconsistencies in color, font, or imagery.
Typography mastery – Strong grasp of typeface pairing, kerning, line spacing, and hierarchy.

Technical proficiency

Web-based visual content familiarity – Experience working with interactive images, web platforms, and digital media.
Content testing – Capability to test interactive experiences (e.g., zoom functionality, tagging) across browsers and devices.
Knowledge of design tools – Proficiency in tools like Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator), Figma, Sketch, or similar.

Brand consistency and standards

Brand guidelines adherence – Ability to apply and enforce visual standards consistently across all assets.
Visual cohesion and polishing – Ensuring assets maintain a unified and polished appearance across platforms.

Collaboration and communication

Client-facing communication – Comfort working with international clients and stakeholders, especially in sports and entertainment.
Team collaboration – Ability to work cross-functionally with designers, developers, and account managers.

Mindset and work ethic

Obsessive attention to detail – Innate perfectionism and a meticulous approach to QA.
Self-directed and remote-ready – Able to manage workload independently in a remote team.
Sense of ownership – Deep personal responsibility for quality and results.
Pride in craftsmanship – Commitment to refining and triple-checking work.
