Senior buyer for a company in Cape Town with expertise in international and local buying skills.
Qualifications:
- Matric with
- 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role essential
- Purchase orders based on demand and inventory levels
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of PO details
- Collaborate with various departments to finalise purchase orders
- Managing customs clearance processes for international shipments
- Adherence to import/export regulations
- Computer literacy in Syspro or another ERP system
- Supplier management: Ability to establish and maintain positive relationships with local or international suppliers
- Procurement experience: Demonstrated ability to make good procurement decisions aligned with demand and inventory levels.
- Regulatory compliance: Knowledge of relevant international trade and procurement regulations
