Junior Auto Electrician

As an auto electrician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in vehicles. You will work with various components, including batteries, alarms, remote systems, alternators, and advanced computerised systems. Duties

• Diagnosing electrical faults using specialised tools
• Repairing and replacing alternators, starter motors, ignition systems, and wiring
• Installing alarms, navigation systems, and lighting
• Working with computerised vehicle control systems (ECUs)
• Reading and interpreting wiring diagrams
• Maintaining batteries, charging systems, and safety standards

Requirements

• No formal qualification is required (but advantageous)
• A keen interest in auto electrical systems
• Basic knowledge of vehicle mechanics (advantageous but not required)
• Problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Willingness to learn and work with diagnostic tools
• Ability to follow technical instructions and wiring diagrams
