We are looking for a skilled and qualified engine assembler to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is the assembly of all diesel and petrol engines with precision and efficiency.
Key responsibilities
- Assemble all types of diesel and petrol engines according to specifications and quality standards
- Perform final checks to ensure proper assembly and functionality
- Diagnose and rectify any issues arising during the assembly process
- Work closely with the automotive machining team to ensure seamless integration of engine components
- Maintain accurate records of assembly processes and completed work
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organised workspace
- Qualified engine assembler (formal qualification required)
- Extensive experience in assembling both diesel and petrol engines
- Strong technical knowledge of engine components and assembly procedures
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and assembly manuals
- Attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality workmanship
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A qualification as an automotive machinist will be a bonus
- Diesel, petrol, or plant mechanics may also apply, but engine assembly experience is essential
