Senior Vue.js Developer

A well-established management firm with a strong presence in the online media and digital marketing sectors is looking to expand their team. They specialise in delivering exceptional ROI through digital marketing, e-commerce solutions, and innovative development and design strategies. This is an exciting opportunity for a Full Stack C# Developer with strong proficiency in Vue.js to join their dynamic and fast-paced team.

Key responsibilities:

• Develop, coordinate, and manage web applications using Vue.js, and other relevant technologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement integrated solutions.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices in web development.
• Troubleshoot, debug and optimise both front-end and back-end systems.
• Ensure application scalability and cross-browser compatibility.
• Work in an agile environment, delivering tasks within project timelines.
• Contribute to research and development efforts for web-based solutions.
• Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to understand project requirements and goals.
• Manage time effectively to prioritise tasks and ensure timely delivery of high-quality results.

Skills and qualifications required:

• Five+ years of experience in Vue.js.
• Five+ years of hands-on experience with C#.
• Proficiency in both Linux and Windows server environments.
• 5 to 7 years of experience in web design/development.
• Strong knowledge of web best practices for writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
• Experience creating scalable features across multiple browsers, operating systems, and device types.
• Expertise in JSON and Web API integration.
• Familiarity with version control systems like GIT and SVN.
• Experience with MySQL and SQL (2008 onwards).
• Strong development skills in HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, XML, and XHTML.

The reference number for this position is PM60115, which is a permanent position based in Johannesburg, offering a cost to company of up to R1.2 million per annum, negotiable on experience and ability.
