We are seeking an ETL Developer with experience in SQL Server and Oracle to design and develop data and system integration solutions across multiple business units. This role involves collaboration with Business Delivery Managers (BDMs) and Delivery Heads to recommend and implement new and emerging technologies that create a competitive advantage and define a clear technical roadmap for the organisation.

Key requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of five years of IT commercial experience.
• At least three years of integration experience across multiple platforms and technology landscapes, particularly Informatica Power Centre (Ab Initio is optional).
• One year of Control-M experience.
• Demonstrated understanding of enterprise integration architecture patterns and best practices.
• Strong expertise in data integration, including EDI, ETL, and batch architecture frameworks.
• Middleware knowledge with an understanding of message-oriented middleware such as Tibco BusinessWorks and messaging architectures, including Tibco EMS and IBM MQ.
• Experience with UML modelling and working operating systems like Windows and Linux.
• Strong relational database knowledge, including Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle.
• Familiarity with highly available, high-performance, distributed architectures.
• Knowledge of enterprise data modelling, including entity-relationship diagrams, data flow diagrams, and data vault modelling.
• Experience with test automation tools and practices.

Practical skills required

• Enterprise application integration.
• XML, XSLT, XPath, XSD, and related technologies.
• Service-oriented architecture (SOA) and web services (SOAP, XML-RPC, REST).
• Familiarity with test tools like SOATest, Quick Test Professional, and Quality Centre.
• Database design for platforms such as Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server.
