Described as the first on the African continent, which will 'turn the streets of Sandton inside out'; the second EcoMobility World Festival will highlight the future of sustainable urban living in Sandton from 1-31 October 2015.
During the month-long event, residents and visitors can enjoy a safe, healthy, low-emission and resource-efficient lifestyle. The CBD of Sandton, often referred to as Africa's richest square mile, is one of the most congested precincts in Johannesburg, as 80,000 cars and over 100,000 people move in and out every day.
The festival also includes an EcoMobility World Exhibition and a week of high-level dialogues on sustainable transport for the City of the future. For more information, go to www.ecomobilityfestival.org.
