The role involves working within the sales team, and having a good knowledge of sales helps to bring positive results, reach goals, and lead others in sales. The main duty is to teach the team how to grow the business. A sales representative runs the sales department of a business to offer goods and services to customers for profit. Their primary duties include approaching customers, winning new clients, maintaining good relationships with businesses, and setting sales goals. Salaries are enhanced by a good benefit package, including unlimited commission.

Duties and responsibilities:
  • Build long-term relationships with prospective clients to form a beneficial network for both parties
  • Identify sales opportunities
  • Assess competitors by analysing and summarising competitor information and trends
  • Provide technical information
