Marketing Coordinator

Who we are: A trusted South African financial services provider offering innovative insurance solutions, including gap cover, to protect against unexpected medical expense shortfalls.

What we are looking for: A well-rounded Marketing Coordinator with a creative flair, an eye for detail, strong writing skills and experience in social media and digital marketing.

What you will do:
  • Provide general support to the marketing team in day-to-day activities
  • Assist in coordinating marketing initiatives across various platforms, including digital, print and social media. Help manage marketing materials, ensuring they are up-to-date and accessible
  • Support the organisation of events such as webinars, workshops and promotional events
  • Assist with event logistics, including coordinating with vendors, managing RSVPs and preparing materials
  • Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling meetings, managing calendars and organising marketing files and documents
  • Assist in managing the company’s social media accounts and website updates
  • Conduct basic market research to help identify trends and potential opportunities
  • Assist in collecting and organising data for analysis to support marketing strategies
  • Work closely with other departments such as sales, customer service and admin to support integrated marketing efforts
  • Communicate with external partners and vendors to coordinate marketing activities

  • Continuous: Competitor research in terms of marketing activities. Research local and international marketing trends. Continuous research on new marketing technology, developments and opportunities.
What you must have:
  • 3 - 5 years of digital marketing experience
  • Digital Marketing qualification
  • Experience in the financial services industry (advantageous)
  • Strong understanding of POPIA, advertising and FSP compliance regulations is a plus
  • Proficient expertise in:
o Facebook and Instagram
o Meta Ads Manager
o Meta content creator
o LinkedIn
o Google Business
o Canva
o Microsoft 365
o Adobe Pro
o GA4
o Google Ads
o Google Search Console
o Google Tag Manager
o Looker Studio
  • Experience in managing customer relationships/lead management
  •  Proven graphic design or multimedia portfolio
