Operations Manager

The operations manager will oversee the daily operations of the branding company, ensuring efficient processes and the successful execution of branding projects for clients. This role will require an individual with strong management and leadership skills to support the operations team, optimise workflows, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality services. The ideal candidate will be results-driven, have experience in a creative or branding environment, and be passionate about enhancing business operations.

Key responsibilities:
Operational leadership:
  • Manage and streamline all operational aspects of the company to ensure smooth day-to-day running of operations.
  • Lead the operations team, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to improve team performance.
Project management:
  • Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of branding projects from start to finish, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
Client relationship management:
  • Act as a liaison between clients and internal teams, ensuring client needs are met, feedback is addressed, and relationships are nurtured.
  • Work closely with the creative team to align operational delivery with client expectations
Team management:
  • Supervise and coordinate cross-functional teams including design, marketing, and production.
  • Foster collaboration, and ensure efficient allocation of resources.
Process optimisation:
  • Continuously assess and improve operational processes, identify bottlenecks, and implement best practices to increase efficiency and productivity across the company.
Budget and resource management:
  • Manage operational budgets, monitor costs, and ensure that resources are allocated efficiently across projects.
  • Analyse financial reports and identify areas for cost-saving.
 
Reporting and Analysis:
  • Provide regular performance reports to senior management, analysing key metrics related to project delivery, resource utilisation, and client satisfaction.
  • Implement data-driven decisions to improve operations.
Vendor management:
  • Source and manage external vendors for various branding materials or services.
  • Negotiate contracts and ensure the quality of external service providers.
Compliance and risk management:
  • Ensure all operations comply with industry standards, legal requirements, and company policies.
  • Proactively manage and mitigate risks related to operations.
Required skills and qualifications:
Experience:
  • Minimum of five years’ experience in operations management, with at least 2 years in a branding, marketing, or creative industry.
  • Proven experience managing multi-disciplinary teams and handling complex projects.
Education:
  • Diploma in business administration, marketing, operations management, or related field.
  • Certifications in project management (e.g., PMP, Agile) will be advantageous.
Skills:
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Excellent organisational, planning, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficient in project management tools (e.g., Asana, Trello) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets and resources.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Preferred skills:
  • Knowledge of branding and creative processes.
  • Familiarity with marketing tools and software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, CRM systems).
  • Experience in the marketing or design industry, particularly in managing creative teams and client relationships.
