The Sales Manager will be responsible for overseeing and driving the sales team to achieve the companyâs revenue goals with specific focus on exclusive and value-added products and processes. This role involves not only leading a team of sales manager and sales representatives but also implementing effective sales processes and analysing sales data to inform strategic decisions. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of sales methodologies, and exceptional analytical abilities to optimise sales performance. Key Responsibilities:Team Leadership & Management:- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of sales representatives to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Conduct regular performance reviews, provide coaching, and develop individual and team skills.
- Foster a positive and high-performance sales culture.
- Use technical expertise to provide in-depth product knowledge and training to the sales team.
Sales Strategy & Planning:- Develop and implement sales strategies and processes to drive growth and improve efficiency.
- Collaborate with senior management to align sales strategies with overall company goals.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to refine sales tactics
 Analytical & Reporting:- Analyse sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Prepare and present detailed sales reports and forecasts to senior management.
- Utilise CRM and other tools to track sales performance and ensure accurate reporting.
Process Implementation & Optimisation:- Design and implement efficient sales processes and procedures.
- Ensure that sales representatives adhere to company policies and standards.
- Continuously review and improve sales processes to enhance productivity and customer satisfaction.
- Utilise data-driven approaches to monitor and optimise sales workflows.
Customer Relationship Management:- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and partners.
- Resolve customer issues and complaints in a timely and professional manner.
- Ensure that the sales team delivers excellent customer service.
Qualifications & Skills:- Education: Bachelorâs degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. An MBA or equivalent is a plus.
Experience:- Minimum of 7 years of experience in a sales management role.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Experience in managing a sales team and implementing sales processes.
- Experience with sales into the SADC Region will be an added benefit
 Skills:- Strong analytical abilities with experience in sales data analysis and reporting.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to implement and refine sales processes effectively.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in CRM software and other sales tools.
