Job descriptionPurpose and roleThe Analytics Engineer will play a key role in the Continuous Improvement and Innovation team at STADIO Higher Education. The Analytics Engineer will be responsible for developing and enabling data-driven decision making across the group. This includes fulfilling a key role in the successful adoption of the continuous improvement lifecycle approach followed by the team, in support of the STADIO strategic imperative of operational excellence. Role and ResponsibilitiesStrategic Roadmap Implementation- Collaborate with the Chief Information Officer and Head: Continuous Improvement & Innovation to understand and execute the strategic roadmap for the Reporting & Analytics function of the team.
- Drive the implementation of the various projects identified and take ownership for the effective roll-out of the reporting & analytics initiatives.
Data Management and Integration- Develop and maintain data pipelines and infrastructure to support analytics initiatives.
- Design, build, and manage scalable data models and ETL processes.
- Ensure data quality, consistency, and accessibility across various systems and platforms.
Analytics and Reporting- Create and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations to provide actionable insights and enable data-driven decision making.
- Conduct advanced data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement.
Collaboration and Communication- Provide key findings identified in analyses to the Continuous Improvement & Innovation team to inform new improvement initiatives.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Communicate complex data insights in a clear and concise manner to stakeholders at all levels.
Continuous Improvement- Identify and implement opportunities for process optimisation, improvement and automation.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to drive innovation within the team.
Training and Support- Provide training and support to team members on data tools and best practices.
- Provide training and support to dashboard users to enable them to effectively use the data to drive decision making.
- Foster a data-driven culture within the organisation by promoting the use of analytics in decision-making.
Qualifications and Experience required:- Bachelor of Engineering (Industrial) or equivalent degree
- 3 years+ relevant work experience
- Business analysis, data design and systems analysis experience
- Stakeholder engagement and workshop facilitation experience in the identification and specification of business requirements
- Proven experience of involvement in successful reporting and analytics project implementation
- Data pipeline implementation experience using cloud infrastructure and services is desirable
- Microsoft Power Platform experience is desirable
- Experience with Microsoft Fabric and Power BI (or similar BI Tools) is desirable
