The keynote address will be presented by the former public protector, Professor Thuli Madonsela, now the chair of social justice at Stellenbosch University’s law faculty. Bonang Mohale, CEO of Business Leadership South Africa, will also share insights at this industry-leading event.
“Business has a decisive role to play in growing an inclusive economy that reflects the values of our constitution,” says Trialogue MD Nick Rockey.
“In the context of a new president, a bold budget and renewed commitment to addressing corruption, this conference ‒ our eleventh ‒ offers the ideal opportunity to meet key thought leaders and ensure you are up to date with the current opportunities and expectations for business in society.”
The conference attracts about 450 corporate, non-profit, government and academic leaders annually.
New offerings this year include a speakers’ corner ‒ delegates are invited to book five-minute speaking slots to profile their work during main conference lunch breaks. Pre-conference masterclasses will also be held on 7 May, on the topics of capacity-building and income-generation for NPOs, and CSI training and outcomes-based financing for corporate and government representatives.
The conference will be held at The Wanderers Club in Johannesburg on 8 and 9 May. Book by 28 February to benefit from early bird rates: http://www.exbo.co.za/REG/dynamic_forms/generated_forms/bis_2018_register.php.
