Penquin celebrates a landmark year of growth and success in 2024
Neill Robertson, client service director at Penquin, highlights one of the year’s key milestones was adopting a growth mindset. Spearheaded by renowned mentalist and speaker Gilan Gork, this initiative brought transformative changes to the agency’s culture. “Introducing a growth mindset has been a breath of fresh air,” says Robertson. “Its practicality and simplicity have shifted how I think and manage a team. This approach has sparked new levels of collaboration, creativity, and resilience within the agency.”
Penquin also celebrated remarkable client acquisitions in 2024. Reflecting on these achievements, Robertson shares, “The effort and late nights made every success even more rewarding. Our team rose to the challenge, and I’m excited to see how we elevate these clients to new heights. The new client wins are a reflection of our commitment to innovation and building meaningful client relationships and we’re looking forward to continuing this in 2025.”
Adding to the year’s highlights, Penquin received industry-wide recognition by winning accolades at major award shows. These included the New Generation Awards, the Assegais, and the prestigious MMA Smarties Awards, where Penquin was crowned Agency of the Year. “Winning these awards is a testament to the dedication and creativity of our teams,” says Robertson. “It’s an incredible feeling to see our work recognised on such a grand scale.”
Among the year’s many achievements, Robertson highlights the Suzuki dealer conference as a standout moment for him personally. Held at the Sunbet Arena, the event was Suzuki’s largest to date, featuring a spectacular show that earned rave reviews. “Delivering an exceptional experience for Suzuki’s ever-growing dealer network was no small task, but the feedback from guests and clients made it all worthwhile,” he says.
Overcoming challenges
Despite its successes, 2024 brought its share of challenges. As the digital marketing landscape becomes increasingly competitive, Penquin stayed ahead by embracing new technologies and optimising targeting strategies. “Staying top-of-mind for consumers requires full-time attention and expertise,” Robertson explains. “Our team of specialists has risen to the challenge, constantly fine-tuning and adapting to ensure our clients remain ahead of the curve.”
Looking ahead
As Penquin closes the chapter on a remarkable 2024, the agency is already setting its sights on an even bigger 2025. “Our teams are growing, and we’re excited to welcome incredible new talent in the new year,” says Robertson. “We are committed to elevating our service to clients and continuing to build the Penquin name as a powerhouse in the marketing industry.”
Penquin’s journey this year has been defined by resilience, creativity, and outstanding results. With a focus on pushing boundaries and delivering exceptional campaigns, the agency is poised for continued success in the coming year.
