Who we are looking for
We are searching for an experienced brand manager who thrives in a dynamic environment and has a deep understanding of brand positioning within the fintech or financial services industry. If you are a strategic thinker with a passion for brand storytelling and campaign execution, this role offers an exciting opportunity to shape and grow a leading brand in a specific region.
What will you do?
As a brand manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing regional brand strategies that align with global objectives while resonating with local audiences. Reporting to the head of brand and product marketing, you will work cross-functionally to drive brand awareness, recognition, and loyalty. Your role will include:
Regional brand strategy
- Develop a well-defined brand strategy for the assigned region, aligned with expansion plans.
- Track and report progress on regional brand goals, including market penetration and customer reach.
- Conduct market segmentation analysis to identify target customer demographics.
- Perform competitive analysis to highlight key players, market trends, and opportunities.
- Plan and implement a roadmap for brand expansion within new markets in the region.
Brand positioning
- Update and refine brand positioning statements tailored for the regional audience.
- Roll out customer perception surveys and analyse feedback on brand sentiment.
- Monitor and report key metrics on brand recognition and recall in the region.
- Ensure consistent regional messaging across all communication touchpoints.
- Localise value propositions to emphasise the unique benefits of fintech products.
Market research
- Conduct in-depth research on market trends, regulatory changes, and challenges.
- Identify market opportunities, including underserved customer segments.
- Provide ongoing reports on market shifts and the competitive landscape.
- Gather and analyse customer feedback to refine brand strategies.
Brand campaigns
- Develop and manage a calendar of region-specific brand campaigns.
- Track and report on campaign performance, including engagement and conversion rates.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to map the customer journey and brand interactions.
- Analyse campaign insights to optimise future marketing efforts.
- Test and evaluate market appetite for new product launches.
Local partnerships
- Build and manage strategic partnerships with local businesses, influencers, and organisations.
- Assess the impact of partnerships on brand visibility and customer acquisition.
- Develop criteria for evaluating potential collaborations.
- Track customer referrals and conversions resulting from partnerships.
- Maintain strong relationships with partners through regular engagements.
What do you need?
- Bachelor’s degree or advanced diploma in marketing, business, or a related field.
- At least six years’ experience in brand management or marketing within fintech or financial services.
- Strong understanding of fintech, digital banking, and financial services marketing.
- Proven ability to develop and execute regional brand strategies.
- Exceptional project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives.
- Analytical mindset with experience in data-driven decision-making.
- Ability to collaborate across teams, including product development, sales, and customer support.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Creative approach with strong design and messaging instincts.
- Proficiency in marketing software and analytics tools.
