Coordinate and lead dispatch teams, managing schedules, assigning tasks, and ensuring timely response to calls. Responsible for optimising the workflow, resolving operational issues, and maintaining effective communication between dispatchers and field personnel. Responsible for tracking vehicle movements, communicating with drivers, and implementing efficient routing strategies to optimize resources. 

Responsibilities will include:

Required:

Experience

• Substantial experience in dispatch or related roles, demonstrating a deep understanding of transportation logistics.

Leadership skills

• Strong leadership qualities to effectively manage and guide a team of dispatchers.

Communication skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for coordinating with drivers, team members, and other stakeholders.

Organisational skills

• Exceptional organisational abilities to manage schedules, prioritise tasks, and handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously.

Problem-solving aptitude

• Adept at quick decision-making and problem-solving to address operational challenges and ensure smooth dispatch operations.

Knowledge of transportation regulations
