      Mid-Weight Marketing Coordinator

      We have a wonderful, hybrid opportunity for a mid-weight marketing coordinator with financial sector marketing experience at a leading financial services company in Cape Town.

      The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing delivery of the marketing department’s advertising and marketing, promotional, sponsorship and events activities.

      This is a hybrid position with 2/3 days in office and 2 days remote.

      We’re looking for a candidate with previous financial services account experience. Make it count! How soon can you start?

      Responsibilities
      • Project management of marketing deliverables and campaigns
      • National Wealth adviser office marketing coordination
      • Communications coordination: proofread, edit, layout of local advertising, brochures, newsletters, articles
      • Event coordination: Invites, concept recommendations, reporting
      • Adviser office signage: manage layout, approval, installation, suppliers from start to completion.
      • Collateral distribution and logistics 
      • Promotional items: Source, purchase, quality control, stock management available on internal shop. 
      • Sponsorships: Evaluation and execution of regional sponsorship requests 
      • Supplier management and briefing 
      • General team support.
      Requirements
      The successful candidate must have/be:
      • Relevant marketing qualification 
      • Three-plus years’ experience 
      • Financial services industry experience - essential (candidates with agency side Financial account experience will be considered)
      • Proficient in both spoken and written English and Afrikaans - essential
      • Computer literacy (MS Office)
      • Social Media understanding
      • Analytical skills
      • Planning and organising skills
      • Multi-tasking
      • Prioritisation
      • Problem-solving skills
      • Time management skills
      • Deadline driven
      • Own transport and valid drivers – essential.
