Stock Controller

• Procurement of stock for all sales consultants
• Check incoming stock, inter-branch transfers
• Process invoices daily
• Conduct daily stock checks

• Strong problem-solving skills
• Strong communication skills for a demanding and customer-focused working environment
• Organisation and administrative skills
• Procurement of stock
• Ensure that goods inward is well organised and controlled (receiving deliveries)
• Arrange returns with suppliers
• Capturing stock movements on system
• Return faulty/excess stock for credit
• Maintain storeroom tidiness
• Strong understanding of Excel and Word
• Weekly and monthly supplier rep reports

• Maintain stock levels
• Transfer stock to and from branches as requested
• Receiving and delivery of suppliers
• Regular stock takes and variance reports

• Basic accounting knowledge
• Computer literate
• Grade 12 with mathematics (or higher)

• Attention to detail
• Good memory
• Flexible
• Minimum of two years’ experience in the stock control
• Photographic background/experience will be an added advantage

• MS Outlook and MS Excel
• Must know and have an outstanding understanding of stock and stock movements
• Must be alert and report all stock discrepancies or irregularities to management
• Excellent communication skills – verbal and written
• Able to work productively, efficiently, effectively and accurately with initiative and a minimum of supervision under pressure
• Ensure that no stock moves without documentation
• Possess the willingness to learn, improve and adapt to changes on an ongoing basis
