Position: Sales representative

About the role: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced sales representative to promote and sell our chemical and biochemical products to various industries, including manufacturing, healthcare, and research institutions. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of chemistry and biochemistry, excellent communication and sales skills, and the ability to build long-term relationships with customers.
Responsibilities:
Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through networking, market research, and lead generation
Build and maintain relationships with existing customers to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty
Develop and deliver sales presentations, product demonstrations, and technical training sessions
Understand customer needs and provide solutions through our product offerings
Negotiate prices, terms, and conditions of sales contracts
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, technical support, and logistics
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activity, and new product developments meet and exceed sales targets and performance goals.
Minimum requirements:
Strong knowledge of chemical and biochemical principles, products, and applications
Ability to travel (up to 50% of the time)
Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office
Degree/diploma in marketing and sales, or related field or five + years of sales experience in the bulk transport and chemical transportation industry
Industry certifications, advantageous
Familiarity with regulatory requirements and safety standards
Skills:
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
