AWS Platform Engineer

Currently searching for an AWS Platform Engineer to be part of the fast-growing winning manufacturing team.

We are looking for someone with a strong ability to understand and interpret business needs and requirements with an aptitude to move concepts through to proposal and successful implementation.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent experience
• Minimum of five years' experience in a similar role (e.g., DevOps Engineer)
• AWS Certified Developer associate or AWS Certified Solution Architect
• Strong Experience related to AWS networking & security hardening
• Experience with CI/CD, automated testing tools, ideally Github actions
• Experience working with AWS cloud technologies such as Amazon SageMaker, AWS API Gateway, VPC, S3, Step Functions, Event Bridge, Lambda, Sagemaker Pipelines, CloudWatch and IAM
• Programming skills in Python
• Solid understanding of Machine Learning model training & lifecycle
• Experience in creating build and release pipelines for ML solutions
• Proven experience in infrastructure-as-code with Terraform and Terragrunt
• Solid understanding of data engineering (ETL) and data storage concepts
• Any additional responsibilities assigned in the Agile Working Model (AWM) Charter
• Ability to work independently and to submit deliverables on time and with excellent quality
• Familiarity with the machine learning lifecycle and model development
• Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills with the ability to communicate effectively (both verbally and in writing) with both technical and non-technical colleagues/users
• Strong ability to understand and interpret business needs and requirements with an aptitude to move concepts through to proposal and successful implementation
