SAICA Article Trainees - East London - Eastern Cape

Position Overview:We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented SAICA Article Clerk to join our team. This role is perfect for individuals who have completed or are in the process of completing their BCOM/CTA degree (with Honours) and are eager to gain practical experience towards obtaining their Chartered Accountant (CA) designation. The successful candidate will receive comprehensive training and exposure to various aspects of accounting, auditing, and taxation.
Minimum Requirements:

• BCOM/CTA degree (Completed or final year).
• Honours qualification in Accounting or related field (or in progress).
• Strong academic record in accounting, auditing, and financial management.
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
• Own reliable transport and valid driver’s license.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in planning and executing audits for a diverse client base.
• Prepare financial statements in compliance with IFRS.
• Conduct internal and external audits.
• Perform reconciliations and analyze financial data.
• Prepare and submit tax returns (VAT, PAYE, Income Tax).
• Support in the preparation of monthly management accounts.
• Maintain and build strong client relationships.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
