Responsibilities

• Uncover process optimisation opportunities and leverage self-service BI tools to enhance performance.
• Develop data-driven strategies to reduce costs and increase revenue through data-driven insights.
• Identify trends in data to solve recurring issues and recommend actionable solutions.
• Create and deliver reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Collaborate with data and business teams to design effective data analysis and reporting solutions.
• Analyse client and management feedback, suggesting process improvements and enhancing reporting solutions.
• Share insights and knowledge with team members while participating in cross-functional projects.
• Validate data extraction logic and ensure data accuracy through team collaboration.

• Education: Diploma (NQF Level 6) or bachelor’s degree (NQF Level 7) in computer science, mathematics, IT, economics, statistics, or a related field.
• Experience: Two to five years of experience in a data analytics role.
• Certifications: Relevant certifications such as Certified Analytics Professional (CAP), Google Data Analytics Professional Certificate, or Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate are advantageous.
• Technical skills: Strong knowledge of data models, data mining, and segmentation techniques.
• Tools: Proficiency in Power BI, advanced Excel, Microsoft SQL, Postgres SQL, Confluence, Jira, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
