Our client is seeking a talented and innovative graphic designer to join their branding team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about creating visually stunning designs that resonate with target audiences and align with brand identities. You will collaborate with a dynamic team of marketers, content creators, and clients to deliver impactful designs for both digital and print mediums.

Key responsibilities:
Concept development:

• Develop creative concepts and visual solutions that align with branding objectives.
• Work closely with clients and the creative team to understand project requirements and brand strategies.

Design production:

• Create and design a wide range of marketing materials, including logos, brochures, banners, packaging, social media graphics, and website elements.
• Prepare and optimise designs for digital and print production.

Branding projects:

• Design and maintain cohesive visual branding elements across all platforms.
• Develop brand guidelines and ensure consistency across all deliverables

Collaboration:

• Work with copywriters, photographers, and developers to create well-rounded campaigns.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions to contribute innovative ideas.

Client interaction:

• Present design concepts to clients and incorporate feedback to meet expectations.
• Maintain excellent communication and build strong client relationships.

Quality assurance:

• Ensure all designs meet quality standards and are delivered on time.
• Stay up-to-date with design trends and emerging technologies.

Key skills and competencies:

• Creative Thinking: Ability to think outside the box and develop unique branding concepts.

Technical proficiency:

• Proficient in design software such as Coral Draw & Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
• Knowledge of motion graphics software (After Effects) and web design tools (Figma, XD) is advantageous.
• Attention to detail: Strong eye for typography, colour theory, and layout design.
• Time management: Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
• Teamwork: Collaborative approach to work while being self-motivated to handle independent tasks.
• Communication skills: Excellent verbal and written communication for client and team interactions

Qualifications and experience:

• A diploma in graphic design, visual communication, or a related field

Experience:

• 2–4 years of professional graphic design experience in an agency or branding environment.
• A strong portfolio showcasing branding, digital, and print work.
• Knowledge of branding principles and how design contributes to building brand equity.

Additional requirements:

• Experience with social media platforms and content creation for digital campaigns.
• Reside in the West Rand

Work environment:

• This is an on-site position with occasional client meetings.
