A consultancy specialising in AI applications for enterprise clients is seeking a data science programme lead to create and manage stored procedures, functions, views, and triggers for efficient data processing and to generate financial data for revenue services and financial authorities.

Responsibilities:

• Proven experience in managing and coordinating projects.
• Assist the data science lead in coordinating team activities, ensuring projects stay on track and meet deadlines.
• Oversee task allocation and progress, ensuring each team member contributes effectively to project goals.
• Provide administrative and logistical support for ongoing projects, including meeting preparation, documentation, and action item follow-up.
• Facilitate clear communication between team members, stakeholders, and external partners to maintain alignment on objectives and deliverables.
• Prepare detailed reports on project status, team performance, and any potential risks or issues.
• Identify opportunities to streamline processes for improved project execution efficiency within the Data Science Lab.
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications and experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
• Ten years’ experience in a similar role within a data science, analytics, or technology-focused environment; experience in the healthcare or insurance industry is advantageous.
• Solid understanding of data analytics and familiarity with tools such as SQL, Python, or R.
• Experience and a keen interest in machine learning, LLMs, and generative AI.

Position details:
