We are currently seeking a software engineering team lead (PHP) to join the team. This role involves leading a team of software engineers, overseeing the development and maintenance of PHP-based applications, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality software solutions.

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in PHP and experience with frameworks such as Laravel, Symfony, or CodeIgniter.
• Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and SQL.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, MySQL/MariaDB, and version control systems like Git.
• Familiarity with cloud-based platforms and deployment strategies is advantageous.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid work environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Key responsibilities

• Flexibility to work both remotely and from the office.
• Develop, maintain, and optimise web applications using PHP and related technologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement scalable solutions.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and enhance existing applications for improved performance and security.
• Integrate third-party services, APIs, and databases as needed.
• Ensure best coding practices, security standards, and documentation are followed.
• Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation.
