Clothing Production Supervisor

• Work hand-in-hand with the manager to plan the production. 
• Establish daily, weekly and monthly responsibilities and preparing schedules. 
• Guide and coach employees, monitoring their productivity. 
• Work on a start to finish process and establish the quantity of garments that will come off the line on an hourly basis.
• Oversee the safe use of equipment and schedule regular maintenance. 
• Report all machinery not working at all times. 
• Detect issues in efficiency and suggest improvements. 
• Engage quality control (QC) staff and be able to work as a team. 
• Consult new employees on how to safely use machinery and follow procedures. 
• Ensure strict adherence to safety guidelines and company standards. 
• Ensure all machinists have/are supplied with work all the time. 
• Quality control i.e cleaning, counting, packing and all finishing is proper. 
• Report any completion of jobs/issues of jobs or quality, on the relevant Whats App groups. 
• Issue and collect leave forms and submit to HR. 
• Ensure that no garment panels/completed garments go missing in the factory.

• Matric.
• Attention to detail.
• Understanding of clothing production, cutting, raw materials and patterns.
• Work under pressure and minimum supervision.
