Web Designer/ Motion Graphics Designer

• There is an exciting opportunity for a creative website developer and Motion graphics designer.
• The primary role of the Web designer/Motion Graphics will entail conceptualising, work with animation, audio, visual effects to create compelling content. This will be done for various media, such as television, social media and our website.
• The ideal candidate will work closely with production, sales and post-production in creating content that aligns with the business identity, vision and needs.
• The web designer is responsible for the website’s overall layout, user-friendliness and aesthetics. Will oversee the website’s visual aspects and ensure that it is compatible with modern browsers.

• Make functional graphics, digital proofing, create designs and visual concepts that catch the eye and inspire users.
• Support the design process by creating style guides and collaborating with other designers to execute client requirements.
• Work in a creative team. Assist the post-production team and Sales in creating visual assets.
• Curate aesthetically pleasing, user-friendly graphics.
• Create responsive templates, logos and branding.
• Stay updated with the latest industry updates and trends in website design.
• Research new design technologies to create, mock-ups, prototypes and visual designs.
• Be able to create other digital assets like email newsletters, social media graphics and display ads.
• As a motion graphics designer, your role will be to create graphics and two-dimensional and three-dimensional animation from conceptualisation to the final product.
• Selecting audio, visuals, typography, other design elements and overseeing day-to-day operations.

• Three-plus years of experience as a junior web designer or graphic designer.
• Demonstrable portfolio and expertise in previous web design and motion graphics projects.
• Practical knowledge of different designing tools, such as Figma, Adobe software programs. Photoshop, 3D, Adobe Illustrator or Sketch.
• Strong understanding of colour theory, typography, layout design and usability principles.
• Proficiency in graphic design, art and psychology with a sense of how different elements work together on a web page.
• A creative thinker with excellent visual communication skills, design multimedia skills and computer adeptness.
• Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for design.
• Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Competency in handling content management systems (CMS) like WordPress.
• Good communication skills are essential. You’ll need to be a creative thinker and know the principles of motion graphics and animation.
