Construction Manager – Civil

Who are we: A leading FMCG business in Africa.
Who are we looking for: A construction manager (civil) to be based in Zambia who has previously worked within the African market.
What will you do:
- Supervise all civil construction activities across all sites within the group
- Report site progress systematically and monitor contractor's performance
- Use project management tools to monitor budget construction projects
- Design systems to monitor construction quality and implement corrective actions
- Directly plan and execute construction works
- Design smaller projects and execute with in-house teams
- Be familiar with costing of construction projects
- Degree or master's in civil engineering
- Ten to fifteen years of experience
- Construction methods and quality control
- AutoCAD literacy is a must
- PMP certification is preferable, with project scheduling and management as an added advantage
- Strong skills in managing site activities
