Photography Lecturer

• Diploma or degree in photography (minimum qualification – NQF six)
• Minimum of two years’ industry-related experience
• Assessor or moderator certification is advantageous
• Bilingual – fluent in Afrikaans and English
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, and Premiere Pro
• Videography or cinematography experience is advantageous
• Strong conceptual skills and abilities
• Proficient in studio lighting and techniques

• Deliver high-quality teaching in the subject field and related topics
• Assess, record, and analyse student achievements
• Facilitate and encourage active student learning
• Contribute to curriculum development
• Provide student supervision and support
• Undertake administrative tasks
• Ensure quality assurance
• Occasionally deliver short courses after hours

• Good interpersonal skills
• Strong administrative and time management skills
• Excellent people skills
• Ability to work under pressure and manage crises
