A beautiful lodge in Hoekwil, Wilderness is looking for a general manager to join their team.

Responsibilities:

• Handle enquiries through email, phone and WhatsApp efficiently.
• Oversee and manage all bookings to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction.
• Schedule staff shifts, manage uniforms and arrange transportation.
• Handle the financial aspects including paying salaries, managing invoices, and collecting payments.
• Order necessary supplies and ensure proper provisioning.
• Ensure all staff perform their duties to the highest standards.
• Respond promptly to calls, messages and emails from guests, prospective guests, and agents.
• Ensure the honesty shop is well-stocked and maintained.
• Perform general administrative tasks to support lodge operations.
• Coordinate with guests for picnic arrangements, order food and ensure set-ups are perfect.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in a managerial role within the hospitality industry.
• Must have a licence and own transport
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
• Leadership skills with a focus on team management.
