The Clarion Group is a long-established digital printing company based in Cape Town, Faster Displays is a patented European POS and POP product, used extensively by the retail and FMCG sectors. We are looking to place a candidate in the role of senior head of the Faster Display division.

Responsibilities:

• Set up print files for production.
• Design and develop from brief and templates promotional and generic POS.
• Liaise closely with production to ensure timely delivery of work.
• Liaise closely with sales on new concept designs and follow through pre-press requirements. 
• Supply marketing with relevant promotional design work.
• Help maintain the design archives for quick and easy access and reference.
• Create 3D concept renders for client approval.
• Willingness to learn a new skills in cardboard engineering, from design to assembly of samples.

Qualifications/experience:

• Relevant qualification in DTP/Graphic Design.
• CAD experience or similar design packages
• Must have experience using Sketch - up

Requirements:

• Relevant qualification in DTP/Graphic Design.
• Fluent on Mac and PC
• Working knowledge of print methods and file preparation for print.
• Must have experience using Sketch-up.
• This is a fast paced industry; candidates must work well under pressure.
• Firm understanding around meeting deadlines.
• Willingness to go the extra mile.
• Must work well in a team environment.
• Good communication skills verbally and written in terms of responding to internal and external communication.

Cost to company: Salary is negotiable based on experience, skills and overall fit for the position
