Digital and Social Media Manager

• Build and execute integrated social media strategies through competitive research, platform determination, benchmarking, messaging and audience identification.
• Create editorial calendars and syndication schedules
• Content development.
• Generate content for social media campaigns, edit, and publish content.
• Day-to-day channel management (original text, images, video etc…)
• Project management, managing resources.
• Set up and optimise company pages within each platform to increase brand visibility.
• Continuously improve by capturing and analysing the appropriate social data/metrics, insights and best practices, and then acting on the information.
• Digital marketing.
• Tracking and reporting.
• Lead generation

• Minimum five years’ experience working on social media
• Proven working experience in social media marketing or as a Digital Media Specialist
• Excellent writing and editing skills.
• Compliant with legal and regulatory environment (e.g. POPI, DMA, ASA) as well as online reputation management etc…
• Excellent presentation and communication skills
• Must be able to use different social analytics tools.
• Great in social media strategy for engagements.
• Good technical skills, and familiarity with basic design skills.
• Understanding of SEO and web traffic metrics.
• Excellent multitasking skills and good time management skills.
• Excellent knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, Google +
• Understanding of social media best practices.
• Basic knowledge of InDesign and/or Illustrator (advantage).
• Extensive knowledge of online marketing.
• Positive attitude, attention to detail and client-oriented with good multitasking and organisational ability.
• Fluency in English.
• Diploma or Bachelors Degree in marketing or relevant qualification in marketing or digital marketing. Other related courses will be considered.
