Financial Accountant

• An honours degree in accounting or a comparable field
• CA (SA) qualification (advantageous)
• A minimum of two years of working experience in a similar role
• Articles at Big Four firms (advantageous)

• Management of month-end and quarter-end closing, along with reporting to headquarters
• Management of external quarterly reviews and audits
• Assistance with the preparation of the quarterly audit packs
• Annual, quarterly, and monthly forecasting
• Monthly financial and management reporting
• Review of the service department's monthly vendor reconciliations and submission of payments for release
• Management and enforcement of internal controls and compliance with company policies
• Review and approval of NERP submissions in accordance with IFRS standards
• Establishing and maintaining good working relations with internal and external stakeholders to ensure queries are addressed in a timely manner
• Addressing internal and headquarters requests promptly
• Reporting and clearing of open items on a timely basis on SAP and on statements
• Processing and submission of service stock invoices
• Month-end accruals for the service department
• Consolidation and submission of the outstanding list
• Ad hoc internal and external reporting
• Handling ad hoc requests
