Key responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections and diagnostic tests to accurately identify vehicle issues
• Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tyre rotations, and fluid checks
• Repair or replace vehicle components, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems
• Use diagnostic equipment and technical manuals to troubleshoot and resolve complex mechanical issues
• Communicate effectively with customers, explaining repair recommendations and providing an exceptional service experience
• Adhere to safety protocols and industry regulations, ensuring the highest standards of quality and compliance
• Collaborate with team members to streamline workflow and maximise efficiency in the service department

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of experience as a Toyota motor technician
• Trade test qualification
• Driver’s licence
• Proficiency in diagnostic tools and equipment, including computerised systems
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused mindset
