Technical Architect - Associate Partner

Permanent position in Europe, Malta.Open to South African Citizens only..

Our client in Europe, Malta specialises in architecture, civil engineering and Construction is looking for a Technical Architect Associate Partner to join their team on a full- time basis on-site.

Requirements:

• A recognised architectural degree and/or a recognized professional qualification in this field. A master's degree in a relevant subject would be considered an asset;
• Proven skills and experience with built projects and working on architectural detailing;
• Maintain strong client relationships, whilst motivating and inspiring others;
• Highly cognizant and abreast with all applicable standards, legislations and practices;
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English along with presentation techniques;
• Ability to anticipate project requirements and to manage multiple priorities while consistently achieving high standards and goals;
• Ability to work under pressure and to work closely with others in a multidisciplinary environment;
• Thorough and able to review others’ work and to coordinate multiple detailed information;
• Proficient analytical skills and a measured approach to decision-making, being able to take decisions as and when needed in the interest of efficiency;
• A motivated team player demonstrating an eager and positive work ethic;
• A valid driving license will be considered an asset.

Responsibilities:

• Carrying out the duties of a Technical Architect including concept technical design and feasibility, design coordination, material selection and detailed architectural and landscaping construction drawings and specifications, supervision of works and certification;
• Leading and developing technical solutions for architectural designs, ensuring that the aesthetic and functional requirements are met.
• Leading the technical aspects of projects, providing guidance on building systems, materials, and construction techniques, whilst keeping up to date with changing building legislation and codes of practice relating to architectural design
• Producing and assisting the team with the production of architectural and technical drawings relating to architectural components
