      Key responsibilities

      Inventory tracking
      • Record the count and condition of incoming products, packaging, and shipments.
      • Verify the accuracy of shipping orders and received goods against the corresponding paperwork.
      • Report discrepancies or issues to the warehouse supervisor or management.
      Data entry and record-keeping
      • Input data into inventory management systems accurately and efficiently.
      • Maintain organised records of inventory transactions, including receipts, inspections, and shipments.
      • Generate and maintain reports related to inventory levels, shortages, and damages.
      Collaboration
      • Work closely with warehouse staff, including forklift operators and shipping/receiving personnel, to coordinate the movement of goods.
      • Assist in conducting inventory audits and cycle counts to ensure accurate stock levels.
      Quality control
      • Inspect goods upon arrival for damage or discrepancies and take appropriate action as necessary.
      • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies regarding inventory handling.
      Communication
      • Effectively communicate with other team members about inventory status, potential issues, and operational needs.
      • Provide support during the packing and shipping process, ensuring that orders are filled correctly and on time.
      Continuous improvement
      • Identify opportunities for process improvements in inventory management and reporting.
      • Participate in training sessions and continuous education to enhance skills and knowledge related to warehouse operations.

      • Comfortable working in varying warehouse temperatures.
      Qualifications and skills
      • Minimum matric.
      • Previous work experience.
      • Previous experience in a similar industry with 1 to 3 years of experience.
