Java Development Manager

Fast-paced PTA-based financial institutions require a Java-experienced development manager with previous commercial Java development experience in conjunction with team leadership skills.
If you have strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail and effective communication and interpersonal skills this role is for you!
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field
- Lead and mentor a team of Java developers
- Oversee daily operations and ensure project milestones are met
- Conduct performance reviews and identify training needs
- Plan, execute, and deliver software projects on time and within budget
- Ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards
- Manage the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
- Coordinate with third-party vendors for system integrations, upgrades, and maintenance
- Negotiate contracts and ensure service level agreements (SLAs) are met
- Foster a collaborative environment among teams and departments
- Communicate project status, challenges, and solutions to stakeholders
- Liaise with senior management to align IT strategies with business goals
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies
- Provide technical guidance and support to the development and IT teams
- Ensure compliance with security standards and regulatory requirements
