Senior-level role managing the SHERQ Department and incorporating the planning and coordination of all activities to ensure continuous production of products in accordance with plant standards.
Duties include maximising product reliability and minimising costs, staff supervision, planning training, managing non-conformance, management of ISO and FSSC 22000 (food safety), managing safety awareness (security, cleaning, waste removal), conducting internal and supplier audits, managing contractors.
Required
- Grade 12 plus relevant SHERQ qualification
- Min 5-7 years relevant SHERQ experience gained in the packaging/bag manufacturing sectors
- Thorough knowledge of QMS, Department QC Policies and Procedures and legal requirements
- ISO and FSSC 22000 experience essential
- Advanced MS Office
- Must have worked in a Food Safety environment.
- Valid licence
- Own transport
