Premium Furniture Delivery Specialist

Haldane is seeking a highly motivated professional delivery driver to represent our premium outdoor furniture brand. Based in Salt River, Cape Town, this permanent position offers R20,000 (experience dependent) and operates weekdays 8:30 to 16:30.
Core responsibilities include:
- Professional delivery and installation of luxury outdoor furniture
- Quality control and collection of manufacturing components
- Vehicle maintenance and logbook management
- Documentation handling and digital record-keeping
- Client liaison and exceptional customer service
- Assisting with safe loading and unloading of heavy furniture
- Support assembly team with furniture positioning
- Team collaboration with sales, production, and accounts departments
- Digital management of deliveries using company iPhone (GPS, WhatsApp, Google Calendar, Tasks, Email, Dropbox)
- Delivery driver: 2 to 3 years
- Code 10 driving: 2 to 3 years
Essential:
- Valid Code 10 SA driver's licence
- South African citizen or valid work permit
- Matric or Equivalent (English, Afrikaans, Mathematics)
- Minimum three years' delivery experience
- Clean driving record and criminal record
- Excellent English communication skills
- Physical fitness for furniture handling
- Strong time management skills
- Digital literacy for smartphone applications
- Professional presentation and positive attitude
- Experience in service industry/hospitality/high-end sales/design
- Prior experience in luxury goods handling
